Bird Dog

I'm a Cairn! I'm feisty and scrappy and strong willed. I like to play and run and chase the ball in the yard. What I am not suppose to be is a bird dog.

Here's my story…

It's snowy here and I love to be outside so she opens the door and out Hoke and I go.  Not two seconds later Hoke sounds off the alarm with his big barker and she comes right outside to make him stop. It's early here so she tries (hahah) to curb our barking until a reasonable hour.

Anyway, Hoke goes inside and I don't cause I'm the good dog and I don't bark outside…well sometimes. She pokes her head out the door again and what does she see? Feathers flying!! Next thing I know she's yelling (talk about waking the neighbors) and I'm getting dragged out of the bushes and now I'm grounded!

To date I've caught a rabbit and now a bird...and they made me leave both!! Will someone please tell them I have a job to do? Maybe they should read a book on me or something!

Don't worry though.  That bird flew away, with a few less feathers I will say and I'm going to be on the leash for the next 100 years!

Hi there, Hunter will bring in a dead bird from the yard, but generally he is pretty good about leaving them alone.
