Oh Baby
So I'm pretty good with little ones...I know my manners and know that they aren't chew toys and she keeps a pretty close eye on all of us and isn't afraid to correct if something is going the wrong way...BUT I never met a baby until the other day. See her best friend just had a little one and I got to meet her (kind of) when they came to visit. Sometimes us dogs aren't so good around kids, let alone babies...but her friend's got dogs too so was prepared for the meeting. I didn't really pay any attention until she started moving in that seat of hers and then I just had to see what was in there. She took her out and I got to sniff her feets...it was nice...but honestly, they aren't any fun when they can't play with you. Don't know what all the ooohhh'ing and aaaahhh'ing was about...they can't even give me a treat yet. All in all, I will say that I was good with that baby but that doesn't mean they will let me babysit anytime soon. HA!!

Oh I know all bout them babies. We have had them at our house and will have nother grandbaby in bout 10 weeks. They do smell good and yep, they cant do much fur us yet but.....just wait. They grow and when they carry food, it is soooo easy to take it right outta their hands and they dont even know it!! plus they do droppings and that is a meal all in its own, so be patient. But along with that growing comes the ears, and tail pulling and majot chasing you around, just a heads up on the part!!

We had one of those little two leggeds here at the house this weekend! We are not used to having them around either...this little guy was almost two years old and he just kept wanting to chase us around! Actually it was kind of annoying so we went into hiding! xoxo Chloe and LadyBug
I hope that baby comes back when it starts walking around with food in it's hands all the time. They're great to getting treats from!

I wouldn't know about a baby. Don't think I've ever been around one. Plus, I don't think I'd like one either. You just keep me posted the next time you're around one.

I hear you Hoke! I love little ones but I prefer them a bit older so they can give me a treat or, failing that, make a bit of a fuss over me. We often have toddlers visit and they are a bit more fun than the tiny two legged ones. Just hang in there - in a few years time, you'll be on the receiving end of lots of hugs and treats from that wee one!
