The Wild Westie Rescue

Well I'm back from Vermont and what a time we had.  I figured out where the thief took all our snow...good ole' Vermont.  Anyway, we brought our snowshoes and of course my new SnowSuit (which did it's job very well) but there was so much snow that I just couldn't do the whole walk.  We walked for about 1.5 miles and I tried, I really did try to keep up but the snow was just too deep.  I zigzag'd, tried hopping a little, tried following the tracks they made for me but sometimes I ended up in snow up to my shoulders.  So what did my quick thinking mom and dad do??  They emptied out my Uncle Joe's backpack and put me in it!!  My dad carried me on his back all the way back to the truck.  I was warm but I was shaking alot...I've never been in a backpack before, let alone zipped up in one.  For all the trouble I had to  go through, they gave me a little bit of a turkey sandwich when we got back to the truck.  What a day, what an event.

oh man! What adventure! Not sure how Duncan would handle it being zipped up in a back pack BUT despserate times call for desperate measures! I am sure the turkey sandwhich was well worth it though!
