Fight Like a Girl!!

Yesterday I did a Breast Cancer walk with my sorority sisters from college.  The walk was in Point Pleasant, NJ and there were an estimated 10,000 people there.  It was a beautiful day and amazingly very warm.  We walk every year to support our dear friend Dish.  Dish lost her mom to the awful disease and we walk to honor her fight each and every time.  It's a great day to get together with the girls and walk with fighters just like us!!  As a special treat, I found pink ribbon doggie treats at Cutters Mill.  I couldn't resist getting a few for my GodDog, Malachy.

Look at those adorable doggy treats! And way to go, not only keeping up with your sorority sisters (my mom is a sorority girl too) but walking in honor of your friend's mom.

Lincoln and I walked in honor of our mom's aunt who has fought and won twice to breast cancer :)

Wow that is awesome that you did the walk in honor of your friend's mom. My mom passed away from breast cancer, and I know how awesome it would be to me if my friends did something like that.

And those are very cool dog treats!

What a great cause. My mom is a breast cancer survivor of less than a year, so it's very close to my heart.
