I am always so amazed when Hoke sits on the couch and watchs tv. Right now...he's sitting here watching owls and bears! If we had tv that gave off a scent he would probably go right through the screen!! Woof!
Mom Beaglebratz here - my two would probably do the same thing - go thru the tv but they hardly ever watch it altho every so often the action of dogs running or tussling will catch their eye for a couple of minutes.
You are so lucky that you get to sit on the couch, Hoke. We sure don't get to - but we do glance at the TV when a dog is barking or a certain noise draws our attention and we rush over to the TV and bark at the intruder!
Now, you must tawdle on over to The Scottie Chronicles - when you have nothing else to do mind you - and read through the posts and comments about watching TV.
For some of us, it means sitting at an open door watching reality shows like "The Mailman Cometh" and "Who Let the Cats Out?" for others, it means watching the black box (from a sofa or comfy chair) and cocking one's head sideways in an incredulous fashion when animal noises come out.
My old Westie used to go nuts whenever he heard cattle or sheep on the telly. In 2001 we had a major foot and mouth disease outbreak here in the UK, and every time the news came on there was some sad story from a farm, animal noises in the background, and a frenzied yapping from dear old Hamish...I wonder how he would have reacted to a bear? Cheers, Gail.

We love TV - especially animated animal movies, like Bolt and Rudolph.

Maybe he want's to play with those animals! I don't usually watch TV, but I love hearing animals make noises.

I likes the animal planet too! But I leave the room, if I hear animals in pain :(
