My Friend Zena

Yesterday Hoke lost his dear friend Zena.  Zena was a friend right away and just when you thought an older dog would be less enthusiastic about Hokes energy, she always found time to play and roll around.  Zena was 15 and the love of, my best friend, Nicole's life.  She stayed with us on occassion and was truly amazing to be around.  Attached is a picture I snapped of the two "best friends" watching the world go by.  We believe that dogs do love....we loved Zena and will miss her terribly!

You can almost see the smiles on both of them

Hello! The Rocky Creek Scotties wrote a nice post about you and told us to come by for a visit so here we are (Henry & Buster, the cats, and Daisy, the coonhound)welcoming you to Blogville! We are following right behind you and can't wait to read more about you too!
That is so sad that your friend Zena left this world and we are sure she wishes she didn't have to go over the Rainbow Bridge but she was probably very tired because she was an old girl. We hope you find another friend to keep you company!

Hi there Hoke
Nice to meet you. I'm a wire haired fox terrier but my predecessor in the household, Hamish, was a Westie and a very fine one too by all accounts. Every once in a while I do something bad and get a very stern telling off along the lines of 'well Hamish would never have done that, would he?' But I say no-one's perfect. I meet loads and loads of Westies when I go down to the park here in Aberdeen Scotland. Odd that, 'cos we live on the EAST coast of Scotland. Over in the West Highlands it's all border collies and jack russells. Go figure!
Happy blogging!

Hi Hoke, we are three Siberian Huskies from Kansas and we stopped to say hello after reading about you at the Rocky Creek blog. We are sad about your friend Zena. We lost our sister Dakota a year ago - so we understand how sad you all must feel.
