Nothing like have a house for a week at the beach. This year we had a bonus! Dogs were allowed on the beach halfway through our trip. This summer, Hoke wet his paws in the ocean for the first time. We didn't think that he would actually try and drink the water though. Soon after he stepped in he tried to take a sip only to quickly realize, ocean water is not the most refreshing. Not a huge fan of the water and oh how we envy the youtube clips of Westies swimming around in pools and lakes. He also learned how to ride a bike...ok, maybe not on the seat, but run next to it! Slow at first, just up and down the street, but by the end of the week, he was going to the market with Dad to get the morning coffee and paper. Enjoy the pictures. p.s. he wasn't off the leash...I just learned how to use photoshop:)

Mom sez there iz this stuff here in Kansas called humidity an'it wuz REALLY hot an'we do not haf an ocean tu play in (we don't like tu git in the water anyway - butt r cuzinz love it). The beach is pawesome. I try to drink the ocean too. Not so good, but I keep doing it....

Lilly is the only one of us who had been to the beach - and she loves it!! She tries to drink the water every time they go for a walk.

my mama and daddy got to go stay at a beach house this summer, too, but the house was a no-doggie house. can you believe that?! mama and daddy said next year, they would change that. good thingie cuz me and my big sis asa wanna go to the beach, too!!
