Ten Things

Things have been changing around here and I kind of like them.  Finally I have cracked them.  Here are 10 things that have changed for me.
1. I get treats just for being me...even if they follow the words "good girl"
2. I get to go to the beach with just him cause I need quiet time
3. They don't yell when I take up the whole bed...they know I need my sleep
4. I get to go outside without the leash in the morning cause she can't focus on both of us
5. I get meatballs without the spaghetti
6. I don't have work so hard for back scratches
7. I get big treats, she gets the little ones, I get her left overs
8. I get the first smootch when she comes home from work
9. I get to nibble Shanes ears and legs and arms and neck and I don't get yelled at
AND
10. I finally get to run around and play with a dog every day!!!

Puppy Help....

I'm putting this out there because I'm the caring Big Brother now.  Does anyone know of something that she can use around Shanes neck so that she doesn't slip through the deck railings?  She wants to be able to put her outside with me on the second floor but doesn't want her to go thru the railings cause she's still so tiny (almost 6 pounds). She's seen those puppy bumpers but not sure if they work.  I told her to ask you guys because you guys are always so helpful.

Uncle Uncle!!!!

Alright Alright already!!  I like her...there I said it.  I put it in writing that I like my new sister!  Ya wanna know how I know?!  Well remember that green alligator I got from SantaPaws?!  Well I let her play with it and I didn't even have a fit about it.  Ok maybe I'm having a little fit but I let her take it out of my mouth and didn't try and get her...and I even laid down to play with her.  AND I'm taking your advice and trying to be a little nicer to her...plus she got some shots today (and screamed like a baby the dogter said) so her butt hurts a little.  Ok...back to being top dog!

Oops!!

Can you believe this one??!  She went away with my Auntie to lay on a beach somewhere and left me home with the monster!  What was she thinking?!   So what I'm about to tell you next is 100% her fault for leaving me.  We were playing nice outside...ya know, in a I guess I can like you kinda way.  He said, "Hoke you're getting a little too rough...she's just a little dog"...well with that I body slammed her, knocked her right on her keaster!  Boy did that make her cry and carry on for longer than when I took a bite at her over that bone.  Now she walking with a little limp.  He called the emergency vet and they said just keep an eye on her.  Don't worry that limp hasn't stopped her.  Sure she limps but that hasn't stopped her from chasing me and biting my tail and stealing my toys and laying in the grass only to sneak attack me!  She's bionic I know it...

p.s. Blogger is not being nice to me...do you think he knows I was bad?

Easter

Hope everyone got a basket full of goodies.  I thought I'd have a relaxing holiday but instead the monster followed me everywhere...she had to go on a walk with us...bet she wishes she rethought that idea.  Only little babies get carried...she had to walk just as far as I did...yep, 1.5 miles...figured she would crash somewhere around 2 blocks, but just my luck, she made the whole trip, just trotting along like she's been doing it for as long as I have.

Then she followed me around in the living room...gave her a little scare here.  Bet she thought I was going to nibble on her ears like a chocolate rabbit.

Then she had the nerve to follow me in the yard.  I mean come on little monster.  Don't you have your own area where babies play?

Anyway, Easter was a real treat for me.  Wonder if I could fit in her crate and close the door for some quiet time.

Bodyguard

I have a new job to add to the long list of occupations I have already mastered.  I am now her bodyguard...and when I say her I mean the one with 2 legs, not the little furry monster.  When Shane growls or barks at her, I step in and tell Shane that it's not the way we do things around here.  At first my mom thought it was kind of weird but now I ofter hear her say, "Hoke, a little help here".  I gotta lot to do in raising this little terror...I mean terrier.  Good thing I was always so well behaved (wink wink)
