My Horns...

...I mean antlers.  Some of you have commented on my antler picture...well let me tell you, it's not so funny!  Last year for Halloween-y she put that head-dress on me and made me a mounted moose head!!!  Then she photo shopped it and put my head, just my head, over the fire place and sent it all around!  Can you imagine.  This woman is cruel and heaven only knows what's she's got up her sleeve for this year.  Chuckle away...it's ok...she's still laughing.

Wyatt and Stanzie

Ok guys!!!  You were my inspiration for this post.  He had a tomato with dinner tonight and she decided it would be a good idea to see if I'd like them like you do....well, I don't.  I curled my lips and stuck out my teeth and promptly turned my head so that I didn't have to smell it anymore.  She thought for sure that I'd like them...but she was wrong wrong wrong.  She will try squash next...oh great!!

I see you

See me standing there...see me looking very intensely at something...well right in front of me is my treat cabinet AND she left the door wide open!!  In there are chicken treats, chewy sticks, alligator things for my teethes and what he calls potato chips and after school treats.  So here's my question to all you doggie friends of mine...and cat friends too.  Should I go in there and get those treats when she's not looking or should I just sit and wait????  What would you do?

Spa

Well they put me at the spa for the night...packed my doggie luggage and dropped me off this morning.  Good thing they have Wi-Fi there so that I can tell you all about it.  I love the spa...they have this package that includes a bunch of one-on-one play times for me...just me and the girls who just love when I come to visit.  You can also choose to play with other dogs but for me, I'm not into that, they don't let me be boss so it's better that I just keep to myself.  So today I will play and sleep and play and eat and play some more...tomorrow, I get my hairs cut and my nails shaped and I think even my teeths brushed!!!  My mom leaves a note with them so that they know how she likes my cut to be...big head, short tail...after all, I am a Westie and I have an image to keep.  Oh and the best part...they take a picture of me and email it to her with a little "miss you" note so that she doesn't think I forgot about her.  Here's to getting beautiful!!!

Who would have thought

I learned over the weekend that I DO NOT LIKE sticking my head out the window...ya know how every dog in the world does...stick their head out the car window as they drive along?!  Well this weekend, she had me on her lap and left the window all the way down cause there was not way I could jump out with her hanging on to me (normally  she has a fit if the window is down to far).  I just stuck my nose to the edge and didn't go any further....I was afraid I think.  Yep...I just sat there with my nose a little of the way out.  I learned something new about myself...Do you like to stick your head out the window??

Thoughts

Why do I sleep on the clothes they leave on the floor?
Why do I have to smell every treat and think before I take it?
Why do I scratch my ears then smell my paws?
Why do I bark when I want to come inside and then bark when I get inside?

My Study

It's not really a study but it's where I hold court and watch the outside.  Ya see me sitting there in that big chair...well that's my chair, I have covered it with furs and I own that chair.  Sometimes I let her use it if she's chatting on that phone but mostly it's all mine.  I sleep there, watch the cat across the street from there...look for them to come down the street from there, bark at the mail lady from there and relax there.  Where is your favorite spot in the house??
